From her tenure as Director of Production at R/GA's Business Transformation unit to her current role as Group Creative Operations Director at Canva, Katie's career is defined by her expertise in orchestrating complex projects, building teams and her unrelenting commitment to excellence.

Elliot Struck - Creative Director, Canva

Elliot is a multifaceted creative who started his career as a staff writer at a lifestyle magazine in Sydney. Over a seven-year tenure, he rose to Editor in Chief, while also moonlighting as a freelance content and social manager for Nike and Red Bull.

After relocating to London for a four-year stint, and leading a number of global Adidas campaigns, he returned to Sydney for a Copy Lead role at Australian design start-up, Canva.

Elliot is now Creative Director of Canva's Campaign Creative team, and spends his spare time producing and performing music under the alias of Loods.

Michael Webster - Creative Director of Brand, Canva

Michael Webster is an multi-disciplined creative with a skill for crafting dynamic brand experiences. As Creative Director of Brand at Canva, a collaborative nature has helped him to grow the Canva Creative Team team over the last 4 years. A quietly observant nature and a preference for listening first allow him to deeply understand the essence of each project before jumping in. Authenticity is the key to meaningful branding and Michael’s approach usually combines bold moving graphics with sharp writing. Michael has won 15+ design awards including D&AD, Canne Lion, AGDA, Transform Awards and most recently an IHAC Award.

Tim O’Neill

Co-founder, Time Under Tension

Tim founded a successful digital agency in 1997, and after 20 years it grew to be one of the largest privately owned digital agencies in Australia and was acquired by Accenture Interactive. After the acquisition Tim worked as a Managing Director at Accenture Interactive for 3 years, and then started an online automotive startup called Summon. 6 months ago Tim started delving deep into generative AI, and recently launched a consulting business named Time Under Tension, who are helping businesses to understand and take advantage of the potential of this new fast changing technology.

Jemma Downey

Group General Manager, Commercial Excellence - Asahi Beverages

Jemma Downey is an accomplished marketing and commercial leader with a 20-year career spanning Europe, the US, and APAC, working for renowned companies such as Bacardi, Live Nation and VICE Media. Currently the Group General Manager of Commercial Excellence at Asahi Beverages, she drives transformative strategies at the intersection of technology, digital, data, and creativity. Jemma excels in cultivating high-performing, motivated teams, advocates for DE&I in global initiatives, and is dedicated to facilitating personal growth and holistic well-being. She is a certified Energetics practitioner and actively pursuing registration as a psychologist, expanding her expertise in human behaviour and well-being.

Satya Upadhyaya

Partner & Chief MarTech Officer - lution

Satya is a keynote speaker and MarTech thought leader bridging strategy to execution and connecting marketing to the business bottom line with hands-on experience delivering transformational roadmaps and program delivery, campaign operations, and marketing automation; future-fit CRM capability development, stakeholder education, pioneering optimal digital solutions, and deliver CX best practices, process efficiency, and workflows.

and Australia. His previous roles include CMO RACV, CMO Betfair, GM Consumer Telstra, and Head of Digital & Consumer O2 UK. With practical experience leading growth and change for some of the biggest consumer brands in the world’s most competitive markets, Nick has also built and led in house agency teams at Betfair, RACV, O2, and GE Money.

Chris Maxwell is a senior marketer and business leader with 20 years’ experience across Australia, Asia Pacific and North American markets.

Chris is founder and CEO of -lution, Australia’s leading marketing transformation consultancy focused on in-house and hybrid agency models. Through -lution Chris and his team have built, run and optimised more in-house agencies than anyone in Australia. Chris is also Executive Chairman of the In-House Agency Council (IHAC), Asia’s leading industry body for in-house and hybrid agencies. Through IHAC Chris and his team share best practices, build capability and advocate for the in-house and hybrid agency industry.

Prior to this Chris spent 13 years on the client side in senior marketing roles for ABInbev, SAB Miller and Carlton & United Breweries, leading a multi billion dollar portfolio of iconic Australian brands.
